Martha S. Zlokovich, PhD

Dr. Martha S. Zlokovich has been the Executive Director of Psi Chi, the International Honor Society in Psychology, since 2008. Dr. Zlokovich joined Psi Chi in 2008 as its second Executive Director, leaving Southeast Missouri State University after teaching there for 17 years. This move, however, was not her first involvement with Psi Chi. She served as chapter advisor since 1993, as Midwestern Region Vice-President (1998-2000), and as National President of Psi Chi (2003-04). In 1996, Southeast’s Chapter won the Ruth Hubbard Cousins National Chapter of the Year Award, and several chapter members won Psi Chi Regional Research Awards at MPA and/or had their research published in the Psi Chi Journal

As Executive Director she provides long-term vision for the Society and maintains Board focus on the Society’s strategic plan as the structure on which the Board’s work builds. She represents Psi Chi to other psychological organizations developing benefits for members and works with universities outside the US that wish to apply for a chapter of Psi Chi. In her role as Psi Chi ED she has served as President of the Board for the Association of College Honor Societies and as interim Editor of the Psi Chi Journal of Undergraduate Research (now the Psi Chi Journal of Psychological Research.

A developmental psychologist, Dr. Zlokovich taught Child Development, Adolescent Development, Lifespan Development, Advanced Child Psychology, and Introductory Psychology for Majors at Southeast. She also served as chair of the Psychology Department, Faculty Senate chair, and interim chair of the Center for Scholarship in Teaching and Learning. Her research interests have focused on student study habits, study beliefs, and persistence to graduation as well as adolescent and young adult contraception and sexuality. She completed her BA in psychology at UCLA, and MS and PhD in developmental psychology at the University of Florida.

Tamara Lyn

Dr. Lyn is the Psychology Services Branch Administrator for the Federal Bureau of Prisons (BOP). She oversees all mental health programs in 122 correctional facilities for federal inmates, including court-ordered assessments, substance abuse treatment, trauma-informed care, treatment of the seriously mentally ill, and release preparation. Her oversight also includes recruitment, retention, and training of mental health staff, as well as partnering with government agencies and advocacy groups to formulate effective treatment and community reentry programs. Mental health programs contribute to safe and orderly institutions, increase opportunities for successful reentry to society, and increase public safety.

Dr. Lyn joined the BOP in 2001 and has served in roles of increasing responsibility at federal prisons for men and women. Her talent was recognized early in her career with her first appointment as Chief Psychologist in 2004. In 2006 she was promoted to Chief Psychologist at a higher security facility with a more complex mission. During her career Dr. Lyn pursued projects and responsibilities which exposed her to managing all aspects of corrections. Based on these management experiences and skills she transitioned to Associate Warden in 2010. She was promoted to Psychology Services Branch Administrator in 2015 after two tours as Associate Warden. Throughout a distinguished career in the BOP, she has applied experience and insights into all aspects of leadership and correctional mental health to initiatives that advance criminal justice interventions and professional development for corrections professionals.

Dr. Lyn holds both a masters degree (1997) and a doctorate in psychology (2001) from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. She graduated with honors from Harvard-Radcliffe Colleges in 1994. Dr. Lyn is a fully licensed psychologist and is published in peer-reviewed academic journals.

Dr. J. Rick Day is President and Managing Principal of JRDA, Inc. an international consulting firm that specializes in organizational and leadership development services. JRDA works across diverse industries and with numerous global companies. An organization and leadership development consultant as well as a clinical psychologist, he consults with senior leaders and their teams in companies of all sizes, including many of the Global 500, such as GE, Rio Tinto, Proctor & Gamble, AlliedSignal/Honeywell, Reed Elsevier, Royal Dutch Shell, Nortel, Lockheed Martin, United Technologies, Howard Hughes Corporation, Wells Fargo and General Signal. His areas of emphasis include executive assessment and coaching, leadership development, merger and acquisition integration, team building, strategic planning and large scale change management projects.

Rick has held executive positions in health care and Fortune 500 companies. Most recently, while at Honeywell Aerospace, he was Vice President of Organization and Management Development. He has taught at various graduate and postgraduate institutions such as Wharton Business School’s Executive Education Program, Pepperdine’s Organizational Change Doctoral Program and The Gestalt Institute of Cleveland. A frequent presenter with various business and professional organizations, he also has spoken at numerous regional, national and international conferences.

Rick has served on and consulted to numerous Boards of Directors in the public, private, and not for profit sectors. He is currently the President of the Board for the Society of Psychologists in Management, Treasurer for the Arizona Psychological Association Board and a
member of the Board of Trustees for the American Board of Professional Psychology.

Dr. Day’s relevant academic background includes a PhD in Human and Organizational Systems (Organizational Development), a PsyD in Clinical Psychology from Fielding Graduate University, and a MBA (Management and Business) from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. He is also board certified by the American Board of Professional Psychology -- Specialty Board Certification in
Organizational and Business Consulting Psychology.



Roxanne DuVivier, PhD

Dr. Roxanne DuVivier is a psychologist and Associate Professor of Higher Education Leadership at Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio. Dr. DuVivier comes to her post with over 25 years of leadership experience in Higher Education policy, planning and development. She served for 15 years as Senior Vice President of Student and International Affairs at Hocking College in Southern Ohio, an entrepreneurial institution that coupled academic learning with pragmatic, laboratory -based learning experiences. In this capacity, Dr. DuVivier oversaw the institution’s marketing, admissions, financial aid, registration, residence life, advising, counseling and career services offices along with sports, recreation, health services, international affairs and diversity initiatives. Dr. DuVivier also directed the institution’s assessment center that provided organizational development and executive coaching to companies and government entities in Central Ohio.

For 10 years Dr. DuVivier served as adjunct professor in Ohio University’s School of Applied Behavioral Sciences and Educational Leadership and had a private psychology practice. She also led the Academic Advising for Student Success and Retention program for Ruffalo Noel Levitz USA Group, providing consultation to universities across the US on building retention systems to improve college student success.

She is currently on the Editorial Board of the College Student Affairs Journal, serves on the Board of Directors of the Personality Assessment System Foundation and serves on the Board of Directors of the Society of Psychologists in Management.

She is a regular speaker at national and international leadership conferences and contributes annually to peer reviewed journals. Dr. DuVivier has authored two books, and two interactive software products, one of which received the Golden Lamp Award for best technology product in the nation in its class.



Albert R. Hollenbeck, PhD

Al was with AARP from 1986 to 2014 and was responsible for overseeing internal AARP organizational research.  Primary responsibilities included the AARP Employee Opinion Pulse Survey (EOPS), the Internal Customer Client Satisfaction Survey, and was the AARP liaison on the NIH-AARP Diet and Health Study.  He and his team also conducted many internal evaluation studies and customized studies requested by internal AARP clients. 

His Ph.D. in Psychology (1976), is from the University of Washington, Seattle and his BS in Child Psychology (1970) from the University of California, Davis.  Dr. Hollenbeck is a Fellow of the American Association for Applied and Preventive Psychology (AAAPP), the American Orthopsychiatric Association (AOA), the Association for Psychological Science (APS—Charter Fellow) and is a member of the Society of Psychologists in Management (SPIM) and the American Psychological Association (APA).  He has presented over 100 papers at scientific and professional meetings, authored or co‑authored over 300 publications including book chapters and internal AARP proprietary reports and monographs.  Notable peer-reviewed publications include as a co-author, “Overweight, obesity, and mortality in a large prospective cohort of 50 to 71 year olds,” The New England Journal of Medicine (2006); “Adapting new technologies to solve business problems: A case study using Microsoft SharePoint to hold an Anytime/Anywhere Meeting,”  The Psychologist-Manager Journal (2005); “Genome-wide association study reveals substantive genetic risk for Parkinson’s disease,”  Nature Genetics, (2009); and, Smoking duration, intensity, and risk of Parkinson’s disease. Neurology, (2009).

In Al’s “spare” time he is active professionally, having served two terms on the Board of Directors for SPIM and once on the Friends of the National Library of Medicine (Emeritus Director). He currently is on the Scientific Advisory Committee of the Love/Avon Army of Women (AOW) a novel research approach committed to finding a cure for breast cancer.  Al is active with youth in his community by participating in his sons’ Boy Scout activities and serving as a Unit Commissioner volunteer at the district level. He has been a coaching assistant and Treasurer of Mason District Little League in Annandale, Va.  He currently serves as Treasurer of the Sleepy Hollow-Forest Run Community Association in Annandale.



Mary Coussons-Read, PhD

Mary E. Coussons-Read, Ph.D. is a Professor of Psychology and Department Chair at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs (UCCS), and holds an appointment as a Professor of Community and Behavioral Health in the Colorado School of Public Health. In addition to her academic career, she has extensive experience in higher education leadership and administration.  She has served as Department Chair, Associate Dean, and Associate Vice Chancellor for Research at the University of Colorado Denver. Most recently she served as the Provost and Executive Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs at UCCS, and is currently the Chair of the Psychology Department there. She received her PhD in Psychology and Neurobiology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and completed postdoctoral training in Psychiatry and Pediatrics at the University of Colorado School of Medicine. Coussons-Read has an extensive and award-winning record in teaching, research, and service, with a special emphasis on supporting female and underrepresented faculty in academia and providing opportunities in science and research to underrepresented students. Her research program continues to be funded by the National Institutes of Health and her primary focus is understanding the neural-immune consequences of stress during pregnancy and how these affect infant development. Coussons-Read is also a professional executive coach, focusing on conflict management and organizational communication. She is active in her profession and in the community, serving in leadership roles for the American Psychosomatic Society and the PsychoNeuroImmunology Research Society, and on the Board of Smart-Girl, Inc.. She currently serves as a member of the Board of Directors for Goodwill Industries of Southern Colorado and recently retired as a Trustee for the Colorado Springs School.



Christina Frederick, PhD

Dr. Frederick is currently a Professor in the Human Factors Department at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach, Florida.  Dr. Frederick received her Ph.D. in 1991 from the University of Rochester with a major in Psychological Development.  She previously taught at the University of Rochester, Southern Utah University and the University of Central Florida.  In 2000, Dr. Frederick joined the Human Factors and Department at Embry-Riddle, where her work focuses on motivation in applied areas such as sport and exercise, aviation/aerospace and gaming.  Dr. Frederick served in various roles in University administration between 2004-2012, including Associate and Interim Provost, and Senior Executive Vice President for Academics and Research.  Dr. Frederick is the author of more than 50 research publications, 4 book chapters and many regional, national and international conference presentations on a wide range of topics in motivation and psychology.  She is active in a number of professional associations, and is a Consultant for Psi Chi, the National Honor Society in Psychology, as well as serving on review panels for the NSF. Dr. Frederick’s previous board-level experience includes board positions for Daytona State College, Citrus Council Girl Scouts and Women in Aerospace. Dr. Frederick was a member of SPIM while serving in University-level administration, and she recently came back to the organization, with a desire to become more actively involved in the group using her experience in academic leadership to assist in achieving SPIM’s goals.  



Carl Greenberg, PhD

Carl is an organizational psychologist who primarily works in the area of assessment, coaching and organizational development. Prior to opening his own private practice, he held executive consulting positions at two international consulting firms (Spherion and Aon), where he led their assessment, selection and retention consulting practices.   Earlier in his career he held management positions at a couple of Fortune 500 companies (Union Pacific and Southwestern Bell), where he managed and directed the internal human resource functions of staffing, selection, personnel systems, career and leadership development, labor relations and occupational safety and health. He also led a market research team and was an integral part of total quality improvement and organizational culture changes. Carl started his career in academia where he directed the I/O doctoral program at the University of Nebraska at Omaha.

Carl is actively engaged in his profession.  He is past president and secretary of SPIM in the late 1990’s and early 2000’s. He is a founding member of a St. Louis local I/O Psychology group (Gateway Industrial Organizational Psychologists) and served as its president, treasurer and on multiple occasions its program chair.  He is a member of APA and Divison 14.

Throughout his career he has been an author of many journal articles, book chapters, professional presentations and workshops to colleagues. Carl earned his doctoral degree from Wayne State University and his undergraduate degree from Stony Brook University.

Carl lives in St. Louis, Missouri, is married and has two adult children.



Jodi LitfinJodi Liftin PhD,

Dr. Jodi Litfin is a behavioral health leader with proven experience in change management, program development, non-profit leadership, and leadership through crisis. Since 2009, she has served in positions of increasing responsibility at a not-for-profit organization that provides case management and direct services to over 6000 individuals with developmental delays and disabilities and veterans in need of employment and/or housing experience, Rocky Mountain Human Services. Her current position is Director of Developmental and Behavioral Health, overseeing approximately 70 staff in four programs:  Early Intervention, Family Support, Children’s Clinical Services, and Adult Behavioral Health. The organization is emerging from a significant period of crisis, affording Dr. Litfin the opportunity to participate in leading a financial and organizational restructure along with the rest of the executive team. 

Recent professional presentations have included topics on early intervention for children with developmental delays, multimodal functional behavior assessment, and service delivery models for developmental and diagnostic assessment.   

Dr. Litfin is an active member of several professional organizations including the American Psychological Association (Divisions 33 and 53), the Society of Psychologists in Management and the Colorado Association for Infant Mental Health.  She serves as a Trustee for Clayton Early Learning, a member of the Young Child Wellness Council for Colorado Project LAUNCH, and as the President of the Beaumont Townhomes Homeowners Association.

Dr. Robin Hindsman Stacia, the CEO of Sage Consulting Network, Inc., based in Atlanta, GA and a Board Source Senior Governance Consultant. Robin is an insightful strategist, leadership advisor, governance and performance management consultant. Dr. Stacia’s experience spans 20 years in which she has worked in partnership with nonprofit, philanthropic, faith-based organizations focusing on strengthening boards and organizational performance. Robin has considerable experiences as a keynote speaker and conference presenter, and for the last two years has presented at the Southeastern Council on Foundations’ Annual Meeting, Association of Governance Insurance Risk Pools Governance (AGRiP) Conference. Currently, Dr. Stacia is the Inclusivity Resident Consultant for AGRiP.

Dr. Stacia seamlessly leverages her 25-year career as a clinical psychologist and healthcare performance executive to achieve positive results in the nonprofit and philanthropic sector.  Dr. Stacia received a Psy.D. Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Wright State University in Ohio. Dr. Stacia currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Atlanta Mission.



 Elizabeth Thompson, PhD

Dr. Elizabeth Thompson is a mental health executive with an established track record of optimizing service delivery to traumatized children and families through organizational leadership, workforce development, policy & program development, grants management, regulatory compliance and building community relationships. In her current position, which she has held since 2006, she serves as Assistant Vice President, Director of the Department of Family and Community Interventions at Kennedy Krieger Institute, an outpatient department of an internationally recognized pediatric hospital located in Baltimore, Maryland. The Department consists of three programs--Center for Child and Family Traumatic Stress, Therapeutic Foster Care, and Early Head Start, and provides treatment and early intervention services to children and families with exposure to abuse, violence and major loss.  Since 2003, Dr. Thompson has been active in the National Child Traumatic Stress Network, and is recognized for her contributions to several national workgroups and “expert panels”, advancing key initiatives in the child traumatic stress field. 

Recent professional presentations have included topics on child traumatic stress, organizational implementation of evidence based treatment, family informed trauma treatment, resilience, and cultural relevance in clinical service delivery.   

Dr. Thompson is an active member of several professional organizations including the American Psychological Association, the Society of Psychologists in Management and the International Society of Traumatic Stress Studies.  She serves on the Board of Directors of the NTL Institute of Applied Behavioral Science and the Historic East Baltimore Community Action Coalition.
